North American Nebula


  The North American Nebula NGC 7000 and the Pelican Nebula IC 5070 are part of a large emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus.  Located a short distance from the bright star Deneb, this nebula covers an area of the sky larger than the moon. 

This narrow band image was taken over four nights in July 2017 from Loveland Colorado using a Takahashi FSQ 106 EDX and Baader narrow band filters SII, Ha, and OIII.
